E-Commerce. Food waste. Sustainable materials management. New federal and state administrations with new legislative priorities.
Tomorrow’s packaging begins with today’s understanding of how these trends will affect products, processes, and policies.
Packaging: The Next Generation will help you successfully navigate these uncharted territories, helping you achieve your optimized packaging goals and mission. Our galaxy of expert stars will provide a commanding view of future directions. Our stockpile of exciting events will deliver the tools needed to steer the proper course.
Brian Wagner – packaging thought leader, futurist, and new AMERIPEN Sr. Director – will be keynoting and facilitating the meeting. We also have a terrific member and TAG appreciation event planned for Wednesday night!
We’ll also have a new slate of Directors for you to vote on and approve. This is your chance to ensure that we continue serving your needs and interests.
The E-commerce tour on the morning of Wednesday, May 31 is optional. Tour participants will get to see how a non-profit aggregates, packs, and delivers fresh food to individual homes. Consider going! (If you plan on attending, please write “Yes” in the appropriate place on the registration form. Please write “No” if you don’t plan on joining us.)
The official start of the meeting is at 2:30pm on Wednesday, May 31. It will be at the American Chemistry Council offices at 700 Second St., NE Washington, DC 20002.
We’re also planning a special Member and TAG appreciation event for Wednesday evening, May 31. It’s a 6-9 pm boat cruise, including a full dinner and views of the key monuments as they are lit up for night time. There’s no cost to you!
