“I am very excited to have the chance to work with AMERIPEN to advocate for the economic, environmental and social benefits that packaging offers across the value chain,” says Dempsey. “I’m looking forward to working with member companies who are passionate about making a difference through their commitments to responsible packaging design, use and recovery. I’ve been fortunate to advocate on behalf of the packaging industry using fact-based information, while educating on the benefits of packaging, and I look forward to being able to continue that work.”
AMERIPEN has also announced that this year’s Annual Members Meeting will be held in Arlington, Virginia, June 26-28. Attendance is limited to member companies and invited technical advisors. New members may attend this meeting and fully participate in all AMERIPEN activities if they join the organization by May 24, 2013. The deadline to reserve rooms is May 28, and event registration will close on June 7.
