2025 Annual Summit

June 10-12, 2025 | Hilton Alexandria Old Town

With EPR legislation finally enacted this year and the packaging policy landscape as dynamic as ever, 2025 is set to be a transformative year for packaging! Luckily, AMERIPEN is here to help – our 2025 Annual Summit in Washington, DC is designed to prepare you for the road ahead.

Open exclusively to association members and invited guests, we'll gather to participate in engaged discussions on packaging policies, the transition to EPR and much more as we learn from legislators regulatory staff, and industry.

In addition to informative presentations and workshops, we'll once again begin our conference with a visit to Capitol Hill to educate legislators on our shared vision for a more sustainable future through strategic packaging. Beyond our exceptional agenda, the opportunity to connect in-person with industry colleagues, lawmakers, regulatory staff, and academics cannot be overstated. This is a must-attend event if you want to keep your finger on the pulse of packaging policy!

AGENDA

Welcome to the 2025 AMERIPEN Annual Summit

Shaping What’s Next for Packaging

It’s a privilege to welcome you to this year’s Annual Summit—and my first as Executive Director of AMERIPEN. I’m excited to join this community at such a critical time, as packaging policy continues to evolve rapidly and extended producer responsibility moves from theory into implementation across the country.

Over the next few days, we have the opportunity to learn from one another, hear from leading voices across the packaging value chain, and engage in conversations that will shape the future of our work. Whether this is your first Summit or your fifth, I hope you’ll leave with new knowledge, stronger connections, and a renewed sense of purpose.

A sincere thank you to Emily Williams, our Planning Committee Chair, committee members, our speakers and panelists, and our generous sponsors and exhibitors for making this event possible. Your time, energy, and expertise are what make this gathering so valuable.

If you need anything during the event, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me or any member of the AMERIPEN team. We’re here to help and ensure you have a meaningful and productive experience.

Thank you for your continued engagement and support—and welcome to the 2025 Annual Summit.

Lynn Dyer
