Membership Types

At AMERIPEN, we strive to include the entire packaging value chain as members, with representation from a wide variety of material types, value chain partners and packaging end markets. This diversity strengthens our voice and helps us to advocate more effectively. We have established two types of memberships, based upon organization type.

Company Membership

Company members must be legal entities, such as corporations or limited liability companies, within the packaging value chain. Examples are listed below. Individuals are not eligible for company memberships.

Raw materials producers
Packaging suppliers and/or converters
Packaged goods manufacturers
Distributors of packaged goods
Retailers of packed goods
Waste haulers
Recyclers
Equipment manufacturers

Please Note:

Dues and number of votes per member company are based on global sales according to the tiers below.
Dues are assessed on a calendar basis and will be pro-rated based on the quarter in which a new member joins.
Company membership is subject to approval by the AMERIPEN Board of Directors.
New members are invoiced based on billing instructions once the application is approved.

Dues Structure

Tier I

Company Size: Global sales greater than $10 Billion for most recently reported fiscal year.

Annual Dues: $30,000

Votes per Member: 7

Tier II

Company Size: Global sales of $1–10 billion for most recently reported fiscal year.

Annual Dues: $22,800

Votes per Member: 4

Tier III

Company Size: Global sales of $10 Million–1 billion for most recently reported fiscal year.

Annual Dues: $15,000

Votes per Member: 2

Tier IV

Company Size: Global sales of less than $10 Million for most recently reported fiscal year

Annual Dues: $7,800

Votes per Member: 1

Company Member Application

Associate Membership

Associate Members can be trade associations wishing to participate in AMERIPEN activities. A key interest for associations will be the ability to participate in our government affairs activities, both within AMERIPEN and as part of our outside policy and lobbying efforts.

Please Note:

Associate Members are non-voting members of AMERIPEN.
Dues for Associate Members are $7,800, assessed on a calendar basis. Dues will be pro-rated based on the quarter in which a new member joins.
Associate membership is subject to approval by the AMERIPEN Board of Directors.
New members are invoiced based on billing instructions once the application is approved.
